Miroslav has appeared at leading concerts and festivals throughout most of Europe, as well as in the United States, Canada, and South Korea. Altogether, he has given over 1,200 concert performances. In 2017, he founded the Ambroš Ladies Orchestra — a unique all-female chamber ensemble.

The aforementioned legendary violinist Josef Suk wrote about him:

Despite his intensive concert schedule, Miroslav Ambroš received numerous accolades already during his studies. Among the most prestigious is his overall victory at the international “Prix des Jeunes Talents Européens de Musique Classique” competition in Marseille. Other top prizes include the Bohdan Warchal International Violin Competition in Slovakia, the Kocian Violin Competition, Beethoven’s Hradec, and the Czech National Conservatory Competition. He is also a recipient of the prestigious YAMAHA Foundation Award and the overall winner of the national Concertino Praga competition for chamber ensembles.

Miroslav has performed extensively across the globe. He has appeared at leading festivals throughout Europe — in Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Norway — as well as in Canada, South Korea, and Russia. He has completed seven concert tours of the United States and Canada.  His international appearances include prestigious venues such as the Musikverein in Vienna, the Oratoire du Louvre in Paris, the Opéra Garnier in Monaco, Sala Caselle in Rome, Tabaret Hall in Ottawa, Memorial Hall in Phoenix, and the Seoul Arts Center.

In his home countries, Miroslav has performed at major cultural events, including the Prague Spring Festival alongside Maestro Josef Suk, and the season opening of the PKF – Prague Philharmonia under Jiří Bělohlávek, where he played Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D Major at the Dvořák Hall of the Rudolfinum. He made his debut with the Slovak Philharmonic in 2018. He has also performed in renowned venues such as Smetana Hall at the Municipal House in Prague, the Spanish Hall at Prague Castle, and the Reduta concert hall in Bratislava. He has collaborated with most of the leading orchestras in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia. His performances have been featured on national television and radio in both countries, as well as on international stations in Marseille, Luxembourg, and the BBC. Miroslav’s discography includes recordings for ArcoDiva, Radioservis, and Supraphon — the latter featuring a collaboration with Josef Suk on the maestro’s final album, which was named Editor’s Choice by Classic FM UK in 2009. That recording has since surpassed two million plays on Spotify.

In 2017, Miroslav founded the Ambroš Ladies Orchestra, in which he performs as a soloist. After a successful Christmas tour of Italy, France, and Luxembourg, the orchestra launched its first season in 2018 with a debut concert that led to an invitation to perform at the Monte Carlo Opera Garnier under the patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco.

In 2019, the orchestra debuted at the Smetana’s Litomyšl Festival and collaborated with Czech Television, including at the Golden Prague Festival. They toured the Czech Republic with tenor Štefan Margita and recorded a CD with pianist Ivo Kahánek, featuring early works by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy.

The orchestra regularly performs at corporate and gala events in various formations, including quartets and sextets. Their most prominent project, performed in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Belgium, and the Baltic States, is Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, with Miroslav Ambroš as soloist accompanied by an all-female string quartet.
