
Miroslav Ambroš studied under a number of distinguished teachers in the Czech Republic and Germany. He began his studies at Jan Neruda Music Grammar School under Prof. Jiří Hník, then continued his development simultaneously at Prague Conservatory and C.M. von Weber University of Music in Dresden (Prof. Ivan Ženatý), at the Music Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (Prof. Ivan Štraus), and at Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hannover (Prof. Krzysztof Wegrzyn). His educational background also includes numerous master classes in Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland, where he studied with such masters as P. Zukerman, R. Ricci, A. Chumachenco, G. Pauk, P. Amoyal, and others. Since 2008, he has also been a private student of Master Josef Suk.



Despite his extensive concert activity and relatively young age, Miroslav has earned numerous prestigious awards. Most notable is his absolute victory in the international competition "Du Prix des Jeunes Talents Européens de Musique Classique" in Marseille. Other significant achievements include winning the Bohdana Warchal Competition in Slovakia, the Kocián Violin Competition, Beethoven Hradec, and the Czech Conservatories Competition. Miroslav is also a recipient of the prestigious YAMAHA Award and absolute winner of the national Concertino Praga competition for chamber ensembles.
